🚦 CUT Showcases Transport Research During Ministerial Visit
On 26 March 2026, the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) welcomed Minister of Transport Ms Barbara Creecy and Free State MEC for Community Safety, Roads and Transport Mr Jabu Mbalula to CiviLab@CUT. The visit formed part of a collaborative programme with the Department of Community Safety, Roads and Transport, highlighting CUT’s innovation and research capacity in road maintenance, transport infrastructure, and sustainable service delivery. During the engagement, CUT presented research and practical contributions that demonstrate the value of academic expertise in addressing infrastructure challenges. Prof. S. Mashele joined the presentation, reinforcing the University’s commitment to partnerships that link research, innovation, and community development.
